Ancon creates POS solutions for the hospitality industry. As one of my first major projects as Head of Design, I was tasked with creating the wireframes and mock-ups of a new online ordering app. After an intensive process of iteration, working closely with development teams in both Sweden and Sri Lanka, we launched the app in the midst of the pandemic in April 2020. Shortly after, we also launched a web version, also created around my designs.
As a part of the marketing team, I was also responsible for the app’s branding, as well as creating images and materials used to support the restaurants using the app.
As of late 2021, the app has almost 100 000 registered users.

The first stage was creating wireframes, both on paper and digitally, to work out the basic functionality and how users will progress through the app to make ordering a meal as quick and easy as possible.
