Ancon makes POS/payment and management systems for restaurants—something that is necessary but generally not the most compelling topic for a restaurateur. I wanted to come up with a concept that tapped into what got them into restaurants in the first place: passion. Passion for cooking. Passion for creating great experiences. Passion for restaurants.
Our concept was that we take care of the “boring” stuff that needs to be dealt with to have a successful restaurant so that they can focus on the parts that matter: the passions that led them to starting a restaurant in the first place.
I wrote the copy, recorded the voiceover, and edited this film to introduce our “Focus on your Passion” campaign.
