On April 1, 2008, I started a yearlong project to upload a photo of mine every day for a year. Some were from my personal archives of over 30,000 photos, but the bulk were taken daily through the duration of the project. It continued sporadically after then, but has been overtaken by platforms like Instagram. It was built on the (now extinct) Pixelpost platform, with the theme modified by myself.
